All homecoming activities have been rescheduled for October 14-16. Our homecoming dance is still scheduled for this Friday, October 9. Students will be in regular school dress code this week. Also, reminder that any students suspended out of school during the 1st quarter are not permitted to attend any extracurricular activities such as homecoming dance or court.
Reminder that tomorrow is a virtual learning day for students. They should complete their class assignments at home on Monday. Students will report back to school on Tuesday.

Homecoming T-Shirt Orders have been extended until September 23rd. No orders will be accepted after that date. Homecoming T-Shirt can be worn October 8th (Game Day), as well as on Fridays as a Burns Spirit Shirt.

Homecoming Ticket and T-Shirt order forms will be sent home tomorrow. All Shirt orders are due by September 19th. All ticket orders are due by October 2nd. Tickets and shirts are $15 each. Cash is the only form of payment allowed.
Good evening parents. Students' first quarter Progress Reports go out this Friday. Please ask your student to see their report when they get home on Friday. Also parents, we truly appreciate your support in helping us provide a positive learning environment by encouraging your child to follow all school rules and procedures. Examples include: keeping cell phones in Yondr pouch, wearing a belt, no low riding pants, no hoodies, etc. Our tardy bell rings at 7:25 so please make sure your child is not tardy to school. Thank you for your help with these issues.
Our counselors will be utilizing the PATH Curriculum (Prevention & Awareness for Total Health again this year through Peer Helpers Plus Thriveway Program to facilitate state mandated classroom lessons for our students. The mission of Peer Helpers Plus is to foster positive youth development by educating and empowering students with the essential character traits and skills needed for healthy choices, resolve conflicts, and cultivate positive peer relationships, enabling all students to succeed both academically and in life.
