The Burns Middle School Advanced Band is being honored and recognized by the Mobile County Commission, for being sited by google.com as "The Best Middle School Band in The State of Alabama". This event will take place at Government Plaza on Tuesday, October 14th @9:30am. Go Blazers!

Homecoming Dress Code

All Homecoming T-Shirt orders are due this Friday. Homecoming Dance tickets can be purchased until October 8th.

Band Letterman jackets go on sale today. Pre-orders start today and last until Friday, October 17th. Jackets will be ordered after the pre-sale date. This is the perfect way to show your support for our Blazer Band.

The Mobile County Commission recognized the Burns Middle School Band with certificates for outstanding achievements. For nearly a decade, the band has consistently earned superior ratings at the state level. This year, they earned perfect scores across the board.

Congratulations to Jaycee Medrano for earning first place in the Junior Division - Painting Level at the state level. Her picture is titled, "Butterflies in the Garden."

The Peer Helpers at Burns Middle do an excellent job of supporting our students.

Burns students in the Choir Club and the Student Council recently took a field trip to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. They learned about diverse marine and plant species.
